We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities Clinical Assessment & Patient Care Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with musculoskeletal disorders, injuries, and orthopedic conditions. Provide expert treatment for fractures, joint disorders, sports injuries, spinal conditions, arthritis, and degenerative musculoskeletal diseases. Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate both surgical and non-surgical management approaches. Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, rehabilitation plans, and preventive care strategies. Monitor patient recovery and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal clinical outcomes. Surgical Procedures & Orthopedic Interventions Perform a broad range of orthopedic surgical procedures with precision and professionalism. Conduct joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopic procedures, fracture fixation surgeries, and reconstructive orthopedic operations. Utilize advanced surgical techniques and evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes. Ensure patient safety throughout pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care processes. Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence. Multidisciplinary Collaboration Work closely with physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and primary care physicians to provide integrated patient care. Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning discussions. Provide specialist consultation and expert opinions for complex orthopedic cases. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and confidential patient records, treatment plans, and surgical documentation. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, hospital protocols, and clinical governance standards. Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance procedures. Research, Education & Professional Development Stay current with advancements in orthopedic surgery, trauma management, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal treatments. Participate in clinical audits, research projects, and quality improvement initiatives. Attend medical conferences, workshops, and continuing medical education programs. Contribute to the development and implementation of best clinical practices within the orthopedic department. Requirements & Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution. Board Certification in Orthopedic Surgery from a recognized medical board. Valid UAE Medical License (DHA, DOH, or MOH) or eligibility to obtain professional licensure within the UAE. Minimum of 5 years of post-certification experience as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon. Extensive expertise in orthopedic diagnosis, trauma care, joint replacement surgery, arthroscopy, and musculoskeletal treatment. Strong surgical skills with experience performing a wide range of orthopedic procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling abilities. Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Strong commitment to patient safety, clinical excellence, and ethical medical practice.
