Storekeeper at Delta Hotels DIP

We are currently hiring a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper / Receiving Clerk to support hotel operations in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing merchandise and food supplies while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming deliveries and verify quantities against purchase orders

• Inspect items for quality, freshness, cleanliness, and damage

• Reject damaged or incorrect goods in accordance with company policies

• Properly label and stage merchandise by department

• Store perishable and non-perishable goods following food safety standards

• Rotate stock using FIFO method to maintain freshness

• Stack and organize goods on pallets or storage carts

• Maintain accurate inventory records and complete requisition forms

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages to supervisors

• Ensure refrigerators, freezers, storage areas, and equipment are clean and sanitized

• Dispose of packaging materials and maintain organized storage areas

• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures

• Report accidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately

• Complete required safety training and certifications

• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards

• Protect company assets and confidential information

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended shifts

• Lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 lbs

• Work in confined or elevated storage areas

• Navigate stairs, ramps, and uneven surfaces

• Perform tasks requiring hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• No prior work experience required (training provided)
