Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A guy was talked to by department officers about unlawfully importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications via the .
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the general public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, stated: “It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medications can be unsafe.
“These kinds of items being sold, typically online, have gone through no quality assurance and there can be no warranty about their security.
“You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More significantly, you do not understand the result drugs like this may have on your health.”
