BCI’s Sustainability of Biofuel Feedstock

The worldwide biofuel market grew at record level over the previous decade, attracting the vast interest of numerous industries, federal governments, ecological motions, customers, biofuel entrepreneurs and feedstock growers. Market demand will reach an approximated 37 billion gallons by 2016 with an annual development rate of 42%. A of 10% overall fuel intake in the next years, which represents a fantastic chance for biofuel investment initiatives.

The increased in consumer awareness surrounding environmental initiatives for energy self-reliance has led to a considerable need and growing usage of Biofuel and Biomass technology including renewable and sustainable energy sources in commercial and customer applications. BioEnergy Concepts profits from the chances in marketing, sales and circulation of Biofuel (Biodiesel), glycerin and feedstock spin-offs in Asia, USA, and Europe.

The strategy captures Project 1 – Green CORE (project name) application linking 2 refinery sites. The Philippine refinery site will manage and establish minimum leased landholdings of 300,000 hectares of existing coconut plantation as feedstock source for the production of Biofuel (B100/Biodiesel), Glycerin and unrefined coconut oil by-products. The Philippine refinery will mostly cover the Asian market while supplying sufficient feedstock to the US Biofuel refineries. BCI’s biofuel production capability is predicted to reach 60 million gallons per year at end of 2012, with existing capacity at 15 million gallons each year.

Coconut, the most versatile of all crops, is plentiful in the Philippines with over 3 million trees, and personal landowners with sizable plantations have been tapped to strengthen our practically inexhaustible network of feedstock sources. BioEnergy Concepts currently have committed arrangements from personal landowners and farm cooperatives in excess of 1Million hectares. The regional & regional federal governments have provided letters of intent and partnership support. More collaborations in the Asian area are presently being formed by BCI to make sure sustainability for the growing need for Biofuel.
